Ongoing Scholarships Sponsored by the Foundation

Ongoing scholarships were established at places where Mark was a student. Mark loved to learn and play music, and he possessed a passion for ice hockey. He was an enthusiastic trumpetist with the White Plains High School Band. He was also an avid participant in his city's recreation league, and he attended summer camp to improve his ice hockey skills. Ongoing scholarships include:

  • Mark Brent Dolinsky Trumpet Scholarship at the Music Conservatory of Westchester
  • Music Award at White Plains High School
  • Hockey Scholarship to Philips Exeter Ice Hockey Camp for a White Plains Hockey Association player.

Character Awards were established in Mark's name, to be given to a student chosen among their peers. The awardee is recognized for the following values: caring, compassion, integrity, motivation and humor. A small monetary gift accompanies the commendation.

  • Character Awards at White Plains High School
  • Character Awards at Temple Israel Religious and Community Hebrew High Schools
